Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
RoofQualify, operated by Double Vision USA LLC (“we”, “us”), helps homeowners find out whether their roof may be suitable for solar. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We may update it as the service evolves.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide: your property address, and — if you request a qualification result — your name, email address, and phone number. Collected automatically: basic usage data (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or similar sensitive identifiers.
2. How we use your information
To estimate whether your roof may be suitable for solar using satellite/aerial imagery and public solar-irradiance data; to send you your result and, with your consent, connect you with vetted solar providers who can prepare a quote; and to improve the accuracy and usefulness of the service.
3. Satellite and solar data
Our roof analysis uses satellite/aerial imagery and solar data, including data provided by Google (“Includes solar data from Google”), together with public data from the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). We send only your address or map coordinates to these data sources — never your name, email, or phone number.
4. When we share information
Today, the roof check is not yet live and the “get notified” link simply opens your own email app — we do not collect or store your personal information through this site. When the roof check launches, if you ask to be connected with a solar installer, we will share your contact details and property information with that installer so they can prepare a quote. Because that installer may pay us for the referral, this sharing may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law. We will provide an opt-out and full disclosures before the roof check goes live. We also share data with service providers who host our infrastructure under confidentiality obligations, and when required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
5. Communications and consent
If you check the consent box and submit your details, you agree that we and the solar providers we connect you with may contact you about solar — including by phone, text/SMS, and email — at the number and address you provide, which may involve automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to texts, unsubscribing from emails, or contacting us.
6. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent to be contacted, by emailing us. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of your personal information, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As explained in “When we share information” above, connecting you with an installer once the roof check launches may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing”; a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option and full disclosures will be provided at launch. Until then, the site collects no personal information to sell or share.
7. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it.
8. Children
The service is intended for adult homeowners and is not directed to anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We will update the “Last updated” date above when this policy changes.
